Founder and Managing Partner
Casey Janick is a CPA and financial architect with over 15 years of experience guiding organizations through transition and growth. He began his career in public accounting at KPMG, Plante Moran, and Rehmann, where he specialized in tax strategy, audit readiness, and complex IRS matters. His early work specialized in insurance companies and financial institutions where he served clients ranging from small and mid-market businesses to large private and publicly held companies.
Casey noticed a pattern of founder-led businesses with ambition and momentum that lacked financial infrastructure or a strategic partner to sustain growth. That theme followed him into private industry as he shifted from technician to operator.
Casey went on to serve as Controller, across multiple sectors including gaming, cannabis, real estate, food & beverage, insurance, and cryptocurrency. He saw firsthand that organizations need the strategic command of an executive, the technical rigor of a CPA, and the operational instinct to drive results. In these roles, Casey stepped in to help organizations professionalize their finance functions, implement controls, unlock capacity, and lead through complexity.
Those experiences laid the foundation for CEL Capital, the strategic advisory firm Casey founded to help organizations navigate inflection points with clarity and confidence. Today, he serves as a trusted partner to founders and leadership teams, applying technical rigor, sound judgment, and operational insight to help organizations scale with intention.
