Our Story

CEL Capital was built on a simple philosophy: businesses need financial leadership.

Founder Casey A. Janick, CPA, brings more than 15 years of experience leading finance organizations across public accounting, private equity, and operationally complex industries. His career began in public accounting, where he gained deep technical fluency in audit, tax, and financial reporting. That foundation led to leadership roles in high-growth environments—for multi-entity businesses in regulated industries including banking, insurance, gaming, cannabis, and financial services.

Casey noticed a pattern of founder-led businesses with ambition and momentum that lacked financial infrastructure or a strategic partner to sustain growth. He saw firsthand that organizations need the strategic command of an executive, the technical rigor of a CPA, and the operational instinct to drive results. In these roles, Casey stepped in to help organizations professionalize their finance functions, implement controls, unlock capacity, and lead through complexity.

With a reputation for building strong teams and driving clarity in chaotic environments, Casey launched CEL Capital as a high-impact strategic advisory firm. CEL’s goal is to provide founder-led businesses with the leadership and execution capacity without the overhead or rigidity of traditional models.

In a landscape increasingly driven by automation, outsourcing, and transactional engagements, the human element can be forgotten. CEL is committed to delivering high-impact leadership that is rooted in an unshakable commitment to client service.

Today, CEL advises founders, investors, and businesses by providing interim CFO leadership, executional support, and the infrastructure needed to scale with confidence.
